Akisato made her debut in 1982 with Senaka ni Hana wo shotte on Shuukan Shoujo Comic. According to herself she doesn t like drawing but she wants to tell stories her way. She s well-known for her unusual story-twists and her good sense of humour. Akisato s works, romantic or not, may also appeal to many readers who don t necessarily like shoujo-manga, but also should be read with care by people who have problems with homosexuality.
